The Pandemic wasn’t easy for me. So I started walking to get out the house. Last year I did a bit of walking most of these were done in Lichfield. Apparently this is a lot
@adej
I’m a very old computer programmer. I started on 8bits and I’m still going but with 56bits more now. I wrote a few games and now sort of still do. I've got a cat called Dusty. I try to walk at least 5km everyday and take random pictures as I go

Boxing Day and I haven’t spotted a single cream egg in the shops. This country is really going downhill 🤣

I can’t wait
Crunch is staff being forced to work extra hours because of poor management. They need to plan projects better and stop under resourcing projects.
@zxvintage.bsky.social has just posted the advert for "Galaxy Force" on the Spectrum which was a brave conversion. I was offered the chance to convert "The Cliff Hanger: Edward Randy" to the NES and after watching a video of the entire game, I turned it down. I think I did the world a favour
I’m over 54, I will have to take up gardening instead.
I'm slightly older than 14 but have curious mind. Is it OK for me to get one too 😂
I have no need for this and I’m not buying it but it’s got the carry case. It’s just so cool.
The Godot 2025 showreel is out! We're so grateful for every submission, vote, and support from our community 💙

I salute the creativity of the props department. It looks like they turned typewriters into computers.

So glad you did that. 🤣
Just had one of those calls about loft insulation and the person on the other end didn’t give up and go away when I explained I live in a flat and I haven’t got a loft.
We used to use RAM disk software all the time in 8-bit game dev. It was way faster to assemble the code that way. We had bat files that copied the code to the RAM disk when you turned the computer on. You just had to remember to copy it back to the HDD every so often.
I remember it being a bit rubbish.
Stowe Pool in the dark. #Lichfiled
She's very impressed
The weekend just got better my Sony XBOX 5 Pro turned up. OK it's a Mister Multisytem2 from @heber-limited.bsky.social. I can't wait to try it out when I get a minute. The quality of the 3D printing on the case is amazing. Bannana for my lunch or scale 😂 The cat would have preferred a bigger box 😿
Fan down 🤣. You see some strange things abandoned on the street when you are out for a walk
Look what I got. I didn’t need it but i really wanted it. We all need more Linux in our lives. The cat also got a new empty box to sit in, so she’s happy too. This was supplied in record time by the @thepihut.bsky.social #raspberrypi
I had a "Steer-N-Go" when I was a child in the 70's. It was our GTA
I wish Raspberry PI would release a faster Pi Zero W with more RAM and USB-C power. I wouldn't even mind if they used micro HDMI and got rid of the mini HDMI. I love the form factor but all seems a bit dated now @raspberrypi.com
I want one
Wilma has had a long day
Just saying the Commodore 128 was the best
Computer I ever owned or was it the best three computers I ever owned. The 128 and an assembler was a brilliant dev machine alongside in many was equal to the Tatung Einstein
I found an Xbox. No idea what this is part of or why it was sitting on a wall. Odd things you see in #Lichfield #xbox
I had a 2386 it was the size of a tank.
I'm amazed how good these have been
Back when I was young I had a friend who had an Organiser II which he used to write programs OLP or OLPC, it's been a long time. He upgraded to the one with a number pad on the right of the screen and then a Series 5 which was really cool. So many happy memories. I'm staying off ebay now
