I’m so tired of my tax dollars going to literally bombing children by people who are confirmed and rumored to be child predators while the news talks about my community being the ultimate risk to children with absolutely no basis.

Kansas has decided that overnight trans peoples’ drivers licenses will no longer be valid if they had their sex marker changed.

This is happening after Kristi Noem suggested everyone carry IDs with them to prove their citizenship if they encounter ICE agents.

Do you see how it’s all linked yet?

Gender affirming health care is not a debatable issue. It is a personal decision that should be made by an individual and their care team.

And I don’t think for a second that Trump believes anything he says. About this or honestly anything. He just knows what to say to appease his base and retain power.

Trump used the State of the Union to, amongst many things, lie about gender affirming care again.

There are wait lists for years, there is so much red tape, there are so many barriers to this care.

After the blizzard in the Northeast, I’ve been stuck on vacation for an extra three days.

Remember that the people who attack trans rights in the name of “protecting women and girls” are the same people who are doing nothing to protect women and girls in light of the Epstein Files.

I watched episode 2 of Heated Rivalry and had a lot of feelings.

I always confuse the internet when I say Democrats are too conservative for me, but it will not stop being true.

Public displays of care and outrage come in waves. We're currently in one. But every time a wave comes, it activates people to get and stay informed.

Just a reminder that if you are an artist who thinks politics have no place in the arts, you have a very narrow and misguided view of the arts.

I’m really grateful for the people I see who have not given up. The people who have learned to make this work sustainable. The people who continue to push for a better world. You’re not alone.

It’s easy to care when everyone’s talking about it.

It’s easy to care when it’s directly impacting you.

But it takes work to stay in the fight. To continue to educate yourself and stay aware of what’s going on is exhausting.

I’m seeing people who were becoming aware and angry at those times STAY aware and active.

I keep thinking about hard conversations I’ve had with people in my life during the surges in awareness around social justice issues. June 2020. November 2016. January 2025.

Sometimes living up to your own morals means going against the law.

We need to separate the idea of legal from the idea of good or moral.

Just because something is technically legal, doesn’t mean it is good.

We can not lose hope. That is how they win.
