Why would they fire on a helicopter full of marines? Seems like a very silly thing to try.

Equally impressive is the video feed. This is >150km from the Ukrainian border. That's a long-range ISR drone mission. If Ukraine can operate ISR drones 150km beyond front lines and capture detailed video without losing the UAVs, we're going to start seeing more 50km to 150km strikes.

It turns out that if you help Ukraine with modern highly effective missiles - and stop trembling in fear of Putin and burying Ukraine under endless absurd restrictions - Russia starts losing key military factories and weapons one after another.

It becomes less capable of continuing this war.

4/ Russian forces are thus facing a far more difficult battlefield situation in southern Ukraine in early March than they did at the start of 2026.

The counterattacks in southern Ukraine are also having strategic effects in other parts of the theater.

Geran developments in Ukraine:

- they now fly extremely low to avoid detection and interception with drones. 50m
- using LIDAR to know its altitude
- focusing on the frontline - because deep in the rear it's easy to shoot them down, bigger saturation of air defense.
