Peace Walker getting a PC release so others an experience it is great and all, but I care about more important things.

Like the ability to mod Japan-only product placement back into the game. We will remove these borders, like The Boss originally wanted.

Weaknesses:
- Unskippable cutscenes
- Some chapters feel half-baked
- Minor bugs
- Excessive makeout scenes
- Slow segments in gameplay

A friend of mine was using a tool to analyze market research for his game. As a check he tested it on DELTARUNE. Seems like I have a lot of things to work on...

His name is Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor. That's already the name of the royal family and I will not have this man afforded honours we actually finally managed to get them to strip him of

Twitter post from @BenjaminDEKR

β€œOpenClaw is interesting, but will also drain your wallet if you aren't careful.
Last night around midnight I loaded my Anthropic
API account with $20, then went to bed.
When I woke up, my Anthropic balance was $O.
Opus was checking "is it daytime yet?" every 30 minutes, paying $0.75 each time to conclude "no, it's still night."
Doing literally nothing, OpenClaw spent the entire balance. How?
The "Heartbeat" cron job, even though literally the only thing I had going was one silly reminder, ("remind me tomorrow to get milk")”

Continuation of twitter post

β€œ1. Sent ~120,000 tokens of context to Opus 4.5
2. Opus read HEARTBEAT md, thought about reminders
3. Replied "HEARTBEAT_OK"
4. Cost: ~$0.75 per heartbeat (cache writes)
The damage:
- Overnight = ~25+ heartbeats
- 25 Γ— $0.75 = ~$18.75 just from heartbeats alone
- Plus regular conversation = ~$20 total
The absurdity: Opus was essentially checking "is it daytime yet?" every 30 minutes, paying $0.75 each time to conclude "no, it's still night."
The problem is:
1. Heartbeat uses Opus (most expensive model) for a trivial check
2. Sends the entire conversation context (~120k tokens) each time
3. Runs every 30 minutes regardless of whether anything needs checking
That's $750 a month if this runs, to occasionally remind me stuff? Yeah, no. Not great.”

I have always said it, I will continue to say it, we are limiting the productive potential of millions of freaks by demanding they earn a wage to survive instead of enabling them to do whatever thing their brain is broken for

In The Labyrinth of Time, entering the Ziggurat without a lantern is supposed to show a black screen. However, the developers put in the wrong filename for the black screen, so it fails to render, showing a black screen instead

I vividly remember playing Zelda 2 and one of the four playable characters was the princess and she could sort of hover/fly through the levels. Zelda was the green guy who could jump really high. The secret Moblin could run fast, and Impa could pick up items really good.

No one else is brave enough, so I'll say it. I wouldn't vote for Pete Hegseth in a Democratic Party primary. You can accuse me of having purity tests, but I guess I just have to trust my gut.

I may lose fans for this, but I don't think I'd vote for Hegseth in a general election either.

i'd just like to interject for a moment. what you're referring to mac & cheese is in fact, gnu/mac & cheese, or as i've taken to calling it, gnu+mac & cheese.

It's a basic point, but one that needs to be repeated:

If right-wingers and their views were popular, they would not be so desperate to control mass media & social media nor to use government power to silence everyone else, and they wouldn't need oligarchs pumping billions into amplifying them.

Disney+ is still on the BDS list, BTW.

Don't restart your subscription just because they brought back Kimmel. They only did that because they lost so much money anyway; they learned nothing. If Disney or ABC wants your money, make them divest from Israel first.

I've found the best use for LLMs is to try to get them to write what you want, then reflect on the ways its failed to do that. It's effectively solving the blank page problem by making you annoyed enough to go "I can do better!"

seeing another rash of voter blaming and i wonder how people reconcile this with all the times dem senators - in deep blue states, even - that people voted for and put into office decided to give unanimous consent to GOP shit so they could go on vacation. they voted 'correctly', and yet, get nothing

Letter from Birmingham Jail, by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s letter to 8 white church leaders, written from a jail cell in Birmingham, Alabama in 1963.

Do you think Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. thought that Bishop Carpenter, Bishop Durick, Rabbi Grafman, Bishop Hardin, Bishop Harmon, Bishop Murray, Reverend Ramage, and Reverend Stallings were all one singular white moderate? If not, why do you think he said "the white moderate"?
