I have very much missed all of you while I've been away and you have all been in my thoughts most days. While I've been wanting to see you all again very much I knew I needed to take the time to improve my quality of life and take important steps to recover again.
I don't intend to make this a primary topic or focus of my channel, but I felt it was important to stop and share with intention especially as so many of you have shown care for how I'm doing and what I've been up to.
I began to suspect autism sometime last year, but I was having a hard time finding someone to complete a diagnosis. Since I've moved here to Idaho I have successfully gotten both an autism and trauma diagnosis, qualified for and received the support benefits I needed and have begun steps to heal.
Prior to me moving states in June of last year, I had been struggling with a steady decline in mental wellness and didn't have the answers to what I was facing. Back in 2013 I did receive an ADHD diagnosis and while it checked a lot of boxes for me, it didn't quite seem to answer everything.
I wanted to share my own story as encouragement and a reminder that things can get better, and that it is never too late to seek help. ❤️
I've reflected a lot on what/if to share and I decided that I really wanted to because I know that there are many out there who share my story and are looking for answers as they continue with adulthood in their own lives, without having the support they need.
As promised recently, I also wanted to take a moment to share a teeny bit more in-depth what I've been up to for the past year. Many of you have messaged me to check up on me and I really appreciate it. It has been a difficult year full of change and growth for me, but I have been doing much better!
I considered resuming prior to this but I wanted to leave myself with the least amount of stress to get the rest of my belongings set up and settled into my new home and not worry about disrupting a stream schedule so soon after resuming.
Hi everyone, I plan to return to streaming in the beginning of May. I am bringing over my remaining belongings from WA in a U-Haul toward the end of April.
