I liked this one! I was initially concerned about the game winning condition coming down to a die roll that’s odds depended on how well you played. But having played it with a kid, it’s actually a very thematic and fun way to end the game.
Ooh. Dinosaurs are all the hotness for my 6-year-old right now. Look forward to it!

Yeah, we are slowly moving from "playing with" games to actually "playing" games now. She really loves the design process, but the attention span is short!
Do you ever design a way for your kids to play your games that aren't designed for kids? Greya was interested in my Mint Mechs game and I helped her design her own - super OP -characters and weapons. She played 6 games in a row and won consistently and "fairly" on the 3rd or 4th turn each game!

Mint Mechs playtest last night. I killed A LOT of darlings to get here, but it only sweetened the magic of the game- which revolves around drafting dice to set up big damage combos. Super happy with where this is at and where it’s headed! #mintmechs #minttingames #boardgamedesigner

Setting up for Late Pledges is significantly easier than setting up the full Pledge Manager. That said, this was a lot simpler than teh first time, which took forever!
