One thing that is annoying with mise is that @gradle.com choose to not support it. As they have other plans. But really, the plan are not yet realized and the patch to support mise is small.
See github.com/gradle/gradl...
Thanks to you guys I just tried mise and... it's awesome. I was using SDKman through a Fish shell port and it was never on par with zsh (broken completions, etc). mise just... works like a charm!
Use @jdx.dev mise instead. It jas everything you asked for and much more.

Je comprends bien le point original ; d’ou mon reply à ce niveau du thread. Le but est bien, malgré tout, d’appuyer sur la validité du terme “développeur”.
Given this, calls for boycotting Square OSS are stupid.
It's disrespectful to the hard work all these ex-Square engs have done. It won't hurt Square the company in any meaningful way, it just makes a bunch of your Android peers sad.
What happens to Square / Block Android OSS projects post layoffs?
Let's start with some context
OSS at Square is mostly a happy accident. Jack hired Bob, who's job was attracking world class engineers, and he did that through talks & OSS.
Agreed `mise` is really nice for that, it does not cover everything. But I found it better than other tools.
Techniquement, ceci dit, "développeur" reste correct. La personne développe toujours la base de code. Comme le terme "développeur" est utilisé pour parler des personnes qui "développent" un business.
En bien ou mal est un autre sujet.
Wow political life!
Agreed. Note I was just really nerd snipping you ;)
Just in case you got bored 😅

Hi friends I just got laid off along with 40% of Block. No idea what comes next, but if you have need for a Principal Frontend Engineer hit me up!

This code is for JDK11+ users, but is particularly aiming at JDK25+ users who want the Unsafe warning gone.
More hot bytecode! `jctools-core-jdk11` 4.0.6 is now out. This contains `VarHandle` queues generated from `Unsafe` queues to provide similar performance but within JDK APIs.
Thanks to github.com/amarziali @datadoghq.com for the huge contribution, and @forked-franz.bsky.social for helping to land!
From Nitsan Wakart:
Hot off the press: JCTools Core 4.0.6 released, this will be the LAST EVER release to support all you JDK 1.6 users out there.
The next release 5.0.0 will be JDK 8 bytecode and use method handles and stuffz.
Stay tuned, Var Handles queues coming shortly...

3rd prev Lazy constants JEP 531 is about to “Remove the low-level methods `isInitialized`”. While I believe `orElse` isn’t meaningful,
I have a very different opinion on `isInitialized`. It’s very useful to poll for long init, rather than waiting for it

I made a brew formula to install #asyncprofiler, #Homebrew folk merged it this morning. So now it's easier to install and use.
