In 2015, I co-created an experimental "cameraless" film using a collage of cut and spliced 16mm found footage with organic and painted elements. I had fun experimenting with different techniques to produce weird results!

I spent two hours struggling to load it onto the tank reel, only for it to get partially stuck to itself and cause development defects. It kept curling and getting jammed - I've never had expired film be this difficult to develop! None of the other ORWO films I bought this with have been like that.

This time I shot the film at box speed (80 ISO for the NP20 film), though I could have probably rated it lower and achieved clearer results. In my experience I find that expired black and white film tends to hold up a lot better than expired colour film, but it's always a gamble haha
