when i was a line cook at denny’s, we had to keep a fuckup bucket and at the end of the shift, the slop in the fuckup bucket had to match the greasy tally sheet we kept through the shift to make sure no one had eaten anything. someone had to pick through it & check off the list at shift’s end.
