I think about this line all the time
Every day we alternate between doing the dumbest thing in the world and doing the cruellest thing in the world, and the dumb stuff is honestly starting to feel like a relief.
I just saw Tsunami and they DID have coordinated outfits, so maybe Yo La Tengo needs to get with the times, maaaaaaaaaann.

Oh no! What if Samuel Alito was replaced with a political hack? Can you even imagine!!!?
Also, it just doesn't make sense. People committing fraud are the ones who will try to draw attention to themselves? Huh?
Wildly uninterested in watching Sam Darnold for two years. Strongly considering a temporary fling with Ravens fandom.
To be fair, we all thought that two years ago too!
I'll have the Kitfo Slam and she'll have the Moons Over My Minchet Abesh
On the other hand, I just remembered I have JSN in my keeper fantasy league.
These lovable underdogs put a handcuffed man unsecured in the back of a metal van and drove around until he suffered enough blunt force trauma to die from it. But now they're back and ready to win your hearts with this catchy song!
I saw a bumper sticker on a police car recruiting for the BPD. It said "Be part of the greatest comeback story in America". They're coming back from when they murdered a person.
It's weird cause it felt like a team that really only had a couple flaws. The defense was getting there and the offense just needed some OL improvements. I would not have been surprised if they were the consensus pick to win the division next year. Why blow it up?

I just asked my 7th grade son if he would pretend to be trans to get into a girls bathroom and, oh my god, you should have seen the look he gave me. He did say he'd pretend to be trans to "get into Garuda City" though. He's playing Legend of Zelda.
JAAAAARNathan!!!
(my son did Sarah E. Goode, who invented the foldaway bed, one of the first black women to get a patent. I'd never heard of her before. We're all leearning!)
You'll take my Black History Month posterboard from my cold dead hands
Ha! I got the Great Rock and Roll Swindle album from the Kemp Mill Records Bargain bin in 1996, and it was the only Sex Pistols record I had for 10 years. I loved it!
Da pop-ah bringa you kids free pizza, why you gotta mak-a da fun?
A few months ago, I started a little music project where, every time I finish an episode of the podcast Bandsplain, I record a cover of whoever the episode was about. So far i've done The Cure, Joy Division, Depeche Mode and No Doubt.

100 Years of Solitude!
Man, you shrugged so hard you injured yourself? You must have really not cared about something!
Today, I was behind a bus that had an ad on the back, showing an elderly couple kissing tenderly in front of a beautiful sunset over a pristine beach, and above them, in a font reminiscent of a romance novel cover, it read "STDs are Forever"
