Both sides ridicule each other relentlessly. It's important to remember that 27% of U.S. adults identify as Republican and 27% as Democratic, with 45% identifying as independent. It's the Independents that decide elections.
In other words they want exceptions for themselves when it is convenient for them, and the heck with everyone else. Rules are for other people to follow. Not them.
It may just mean that conservatives have one or two favorites podcasts they listen to all the time, while less conservative people split their attention among many podcasts.
Yes, and they have the option to choose that lifestyle now if they want. See: trad wives. They just don't have a right to dictate how other women opt to live. Why is that hard for you?

Using existing and building a large number of new detention centers are two very different things.
