Long-COVID Sufferer Awarded Nearly $1M After Employer Refused to Let Her Work From Home | Law.com A jury in Nassau County awarded $954,000 to a longtime employee of Stony Brook University Hospital Blood Bank.

A woman with Long Covid won almost one million dollars in a lawsuit against her employer who refused to allow her work from home accommodations.

May this set a precedent.

Remote work should be accessible to all who need it.

It’s a game changer for people with disabilities.

Why does the us empire refuse to improve the material conditions of its own citizens?

Short answer: because the US empire isn’t designed to improve the material conditions of its own people. It’s designed to extract value—for capital—at home and abroad. Everything else is PR.

The Israelification of America: ICE, Surveillance, and the U.S. Occupation at Home How American institutions are adopting the logic of occupation—and why our borders are just the beginning.

You think ICE is just about “immigration enforcement”? Think again. What’s happening isn’t immigration policy—it’s an imported model of control, perfected in the occupied territories and now being tested in your own backyard. #IsraelificationOfAmerica #ICEExposed

Sometimes a mask needs adjustments - tying the ear/head loops a little tighter, adding foam to the nose bridge - to achieve an effective fit. The better it fits your face, the better the protection factor. #12daysofmasks @togetherwemask.bsky.social @sadsackolympian.bsky.social

On the 2nd Day of Masking my true love gave to me…2 latex gloves! One of the mitigations from the early pandemic days has stuck around and that’s using masks at times when washing our hands is not an option. A different mitigation for the #12DaysOfMasks challenge from @togetherwemask.bsky.social

She also wears a navy white striped sweater with a hot pink Crossbody bag.

At the north end of White Horse Beach in Plymouth MA, there is a rock sticking out of the water with an American flag painted on it.

The flag was painted to cover vandalism in the form of a Nazi swastika in the summer of 1941, and it is repainted every year.

This photo depicts the rock with sea birds sitting on top, and a chonky seal lounging on a smaller rock in the foreground.

A story like this instantly weeds out who is full of sh*t & who isn’t.

This is highly credible scientific data pointing towards the livable world ending by 2050.

Anyone not engaging with this is economically captured, high on their own supply or a well paid idiot.

I know
most people do not care
about viral threats
to humans or animals,
but in Greece a virus has killed
nearly 500,000
sheep and goats
imperiling the supply
of feta cheese,
so even if people do not care
about humans or animals
perhaps they’ll care
about viral threats to cheese.

A social media post by Nate Bear (@NateB_Panic) on X/Twitter. Nate’s comment above a shared post reads: “The UK says it won’t even bother when the next pandemic hits. The lesson most countries have drawn from covid is that letting the old and weak die is better for capitalism. The pandemic was a waymarker on our journey to a harsher, crueller world.”

Below is a shared post from Cat in the Hat (@_CatintheHat) responding to guidance from NHS England. Cat’s message quotes an excerpt and says it’s shocking: “This has got to be one of the most 🧠 things I’ve ever seen written down…”

Beneath their comment is a screenshot of an NHS England document titled “Framework for managing the response to pandemic diseases” (dated July 2024). Key text is highlighted in yellow, stating:

“it will not be possible to halt the spread of a new pandemic virus, and it would be a waste of public health resources and capacity to attempt to do so.”

The highlighted passage suggests rapid transmission, limited initial control, and challenges in preventing spread. The entire screenshot looks like an official government webpage with headings, bullet points, and formal formatting. The post timestamp shows 6:13 PM · Dec 5, 2025 with 111.1K Views.

French pharmacies run out of Covid tests as cases soar.

Up to 150,000 COVID ‘auto-tests’ were sold last week amid a surge linked to the new XFG variant.

Self-tests give results in 15 mins but are only ~70% accurate, meaning 3 in 10 positive cases could be missed.
