I love this. A curse tablet left in the temple of Sulis-Minerva in Roman Britain. (Side note: When you see hyphenated god names like that in a Roman context, it often means a local deity who was syncretized into the Roman system.)

This is something I've been trying to capture in my work. The magic system is very soft. I've tried to make it so that you could plausibly explain the magical happenings has the result of some other non-magical thing, while making it obviously magical from the characters' pov.

What do you think the point of reading for and writing a literature review is? The process of reading and writing is crucial for THINKING. Your ideas are shaped by all of this, offloading it to gAI, no matter how "good" you think gAI is at it defeats the purpose entirely.

It is really hard to feel comfortable with a therapist! But they usually know some psychiatrists who are decent, and helping with this stuff is literally their job.
