Flood street dudley... She's gonna have a tram soon... Erm I mean eventually.

I heard you say MAPS!
I adore that show. It's also such a well formed world, they're living in what has been a lasting peace, most of the people they meet are gentle and well meaning. And the way the past has been tidied up into myth is playing out in real time in front of the only person who can understand it!
It me and Teayore
Oh my god I'd forgotten this!
duolingo recently declared they are now an AI-first company. well, here at The Museum of English Rural Life, we pride ourselves in being EI-first. EI EI O
Oh look it's me and some pals fighting the evils of capitalism in an alt universe where they manifest as demons! π³ One of the suggestions in the book is that a community of radicals could be a church... Now there's a thought. π€ππ
Cuties!
I actually know someone who was on the organisation committee for the first year of this version of Nuneaton Pride... And they have been supported by the unions... So that may also play into it but still incredibly disappointing.
So this is concerning, and also shows how small local events can fail to see a larger intersectional picture, especially if no one takes any advice before deciding to respond to criticism.
Our community hosted an event with kirtan which inevitably lead to dancing this afternoon after which I slept most of the evening... So maybe glad I did not have to sermonating... I have one ready to go in my collection that's ABOUT birds which is fun... They're dinosaurs! Rawr!
Birbs plus sermonating sounds like a good day! β€οΈ
I feel like I will need to give this proper time. Thanks for sharing! π
A selfie from my birfday in April. Hello M! π
Pink text on a yellow background with orange heart says "Love Your Enemy...?"
Coming up on the May 4th join us at Brum Unitarians for our Sunday gathering will be co-led by Rev. Andy Pakula - the minister once barred from delivering Radio 4βs βThought For The Dayβ for being an atheist. Heβll be sharing a provocative message titled βLove Your Enemy?"
For any #birmingham people looking for some inclusive community this morning, this is today!
(And I am somewhat madly about to drive two hours to be there - sometimes itβs necessary in order to be in a room of people with varied worldviews singing Lean On Me)
I'm one Lean on Me in already, now I'm on The Frog Song... I've tried to get our USA colleagues to understand this song... I think it's a case of 'had to be there'
Go you! π
That looks so sad.
You've carved a unique niche and responded to a need. π
Wow.
I'm at a point professionally where I'd like to know that the people and organisations who want to benefit from my expertise and experience really value my time properly. Because what I'm actually experiencing is a substanital amount of mixed messaging and assumptions about my level of finance.
I hope you're getting somewhere. Remember to eat lunch!
