Tables in publications are often the worst. Even worse is when cells are merged and data is formatted with lines, fonts, and next to each other, as this is only for visualizing data, not for data use. I hate them. If you're using XLSX files as a supplement, give them a useful format!
Our second PhD just had his first paper published. His topic is about Hermetia frass, which is the poop and remains from the larvae breed. He focused on how the feed influences the frass and how prescribed hygenization influences the viable microbial community. Great job, Daniel!
The first chapter of one of our PhDs was accepted for publication right on time before Christmas 2025. Check out how Hermetia larvae do on fiber-rich feed compared to stuff that's easier to digest. We're also looking at how the larvae's gut microbiome might change. Hey, Frisca, awesome job!

This is a simple digital kitchen scale. The power button sticks out a lot and is glued to the otherwise flat scale with too much hot glue. The switch is no longer the original one.
