Been a lot of couch cuddles the last few days. The mass on his chest is probably a lipoma. Still waiting for confirmation on that. He’s got one tooth to keep an eye on, but other than that, Book is good.

My tough guy Book is in for a dental cleaning and getting a mass on his chest tested while he’s knocked out. Worrier that I am, I’m a wreck. Going to be a long day.

Especially when family thinks that type of work is too complicated and boring to talk about.

Apparently voiceover was a hot topic at knitting the other day. I am so damn proud of my friend for correctly identifying problems in bad audio and the reasons why can they happen (voice matching issues and bad editing). It’s neat hearing how much she’s picked up from me talking about work. 1/2

I think the OS drive crapped out. As long as that’s the case, I won’t have really lost any work since everything (ie: programs) is on two other drives. I’ll just need to get the OS up and running on another drive.

It’s the making sure everything is wired and routed correctly that is scary. lol

What a stressful week. Had a catastrophic failure in my home studio on Thursday.

Seems a little silly with how the world is right now, but some folks keep prodding me to try and do some streams again. It’s been a long while and admittedly, I haven’t wanted to do it because most of my free time goes to writing. But maybe that could be a thing that happens?

Note to self: next time, don’t wait months to type up 226 pages of notes and scenes. Try to do that weekly so you’re not spending 6 hours every day off trying to catch up.

My bank account…When the used bookstore tells me they have an entire section about pirates…and I told myself I didn’t need to buy more books this month.

Internet has been down since early afternoon yesterday. A tech finally arrived and is working to find the problem. Book was not happy that a guy was in my room unsupervised. Now he’s taking a snooze from guard duty while the guy is outside.

Oddly, getting more ideas for DnD hijinks than I expected. (How many I expected? None!)

Book is still (understandably) pissed off at me and the world after the vet yesterday and his first round of ear meds. I think he’ll be under the bed for the rest of the week. :(
