Found out that the first sector onto was the key to fail. So prior to any normal use I saved a simple text file of exact 1'024 Bytes onto to avoid bad surprises.💾

I remember that too many of the disquettes passed away too soon so all the data stored onto they took into their digital grave with. The reliability of the 1.44MB floppies was a disaster, often even of brand products, used for ZIP-filed backups in disc series.
