I definitely have been hammering out tasks this morning that AI could easily do, like synthesizing info into digestible bits. Still I think there’s value in being able to do that stuff yourself.
I don’t really care if AI can write as well as me. I write because I like it; I create things because I enjoy the process and get a kick out of improving. That process sometimes involves heartache and frustration, and that’s what drives me to continue
I repeated myself by accident oops. But anyway.
Maybe chronic stress is a factor too?
Like, it’s coming hard for millennials and we are a well educated bunch when it comes to diet. We know about fiber… sure we could all stand to eat more but. Idk!
I just feel like lack of fiber may not be the only cause of the rise in colorectal cancers. Genuinely, I think its carcinogens in our food. Eating more fiber can’t be the only answer here. I think it’s carcinogens in processed foods

Many of the docs and nurses were fine btw. We also had a lot of janitorial and other types of non medical staff as customers. Widest and most variable customer base of anywhere I’ve ever worked.
I somehow forget this now but my first barista gig was in a hospital and that was a wild time, a mix of uptight doctors, evil nurses, and extremely traumatized patients and families.
Five jobs I’ve had:
Movie theater staff
Lobster shack waitress
Barista 3x
Agency copywriter/ghost writer
Comms for flute association
None of these are my current job but the last comes closest to where I’ve landed

My take on the ~performative red hat~ saga happening on IG: I don’t care if you’re knitting as long as it’s not the end of your activism. But if you’re profiting off of it in any way without redistributing 100% of the profits back into the cause, you’re a grifter and should be called out.
