For the BBC to leave Banijay to investigate Wallace is a cop out. In my 27+ yrs broadcast experience with indie productions, the broadcaster always has final sign-off on talent.

It's only really been since lockdown that most of the production jobs have been sucked back into London. Many tech jobs are still on site, although Outside Broadcast sport is in transition at the moment.
