@bookswithsarah
hi, my name is sarah and i love reading, writing, and coloring. i’m currently working on my first novel and plan to finish it in 2025. i’m also musical theater trash and am currently obsessed with wicked. then there’s the swiftie in me. come say hi!
thanks!
hello! she’s doing much better. we’re taking her for her follow up today. yes, this is very active, i just set it up last night.
gofund.me/61342a7d If anyone could help, I can’t begin to tell you how much it would mean to me and my family. Our puppy had to have surgery after getting obstructed from swallowing a piece of a rope toy.
Consider this if you're thinking of going back to TikTok.
it’s happening 😭
Disabled people have always dealt with ableism and discrimination. We’ve always known that people see us as “less than” due to our health status.
The pandemic just made that even MORE clear. The fact that most people can’t mask in healthcare or stay home when sick will never stop hurting.
which is upsetting. i’m sorry.
it is. that’s a lot of jobs.
ditto 🩷🩷
true. as a disabled individual, i consider all the appointments i have to go to my job.
oh for sure, but you would at least be a little bit used to it.
the huge amount of appointments in less than two weeks would definitely be overwhelming then.
of course!!
i’m chronically ill so like…yeah. i feel you with the meat suit. i don’t have that many medical appointments, but i do have pt and the chiropractor.
girl i feel you. i will always just be encouraging and say do what you can handle. don’t push too hard but keep going.
that’s very fair! you should still be proud, there is A LOT going on. grace is a good thing for yourself and i wish you all the luck in february. give your body time to recover from that removal before taking something else away too quickly. you’ll get there! 🩷
yeah. congratulations on quitting smoking! that’s another really hard habit to break. you should be incredibly proud of yourself for that!
whatever her face is saying is how i will feel for a whileeee
Reminder that Librivox offers free audiobooks for books in the public domain.
Fantastic resource if you're working your way through classics (or listen to a large amount of audiobooks.)

i’m getting high on delta 9 and sleeping. i don’t know how i’m gonna deal with all the days after tomorrow, though.
at a time like this, you don’t need to cut back because you feel like you should, unless it’s really affecting your health. tea has at least as much caffeine as coffee and you can make them both iced. there’s also matcha that you only need a little of and has a lot of caffeine.
oh, gotcha.
I know that people are going to flock right back to that app, but even though I think they’re all wrong for doing it, Congress passed a law and the Supreme Court agreed unanimously and now a guy who *isn’t even president* is putting it back online and this is very bad.
oh i’m so sorry. yeah. i was SHOCKED by this surgeon. i have chronic pelvic pain so i need to pee for pregnancy tests before treated and i’ve had many nurses shove catheters in me because i guess they thought i was not peeing on purpose. they get rough.
holy shit, i thank God my surgeon isn’t like this. i have no idea how much it’s going to cost, but because it’s for medical reasons, my insurance should cover it. my dr was like “why would i care that you’re not married, it’s your body and it’s causing you pain.” all drs/surgeons should be like this
thank you! so do you! 🩷
i will enable you
my goal is to just finally finish my novel.
Ask them to slide the warrant under the door for you to look at it. It MUST be signed by a judge. An administrative warrant - which is what many ICE warrants are - does *NOT* allow them to enter your home.
i appreciate your sacrifice 🩷
