Some are climbers. I’ve been growing them for forever. So easy. Good start for kids. I add a new variety each year, keep the seeds for next. I get dwarfs to climbers. Pastels to deep red. Day before the first frost I cut a bunch because I can’t let the garden go. They root really easily.

I didn’t think most of the #dahlia seeds I collected last fall would germinate. I was wrong. My seeds are the right side row. 8 seeds I collected from specific plants and the rest are all random.
The other 2 rows of 4 with little germination are purchased seeds. 🌱
