Team Rugby helping GOTV for Angeliki Stogia in the by-election in Gorton and Denton today.
Such a positive vibe on the doorsteps and great to be with the Labour family working hard to ensure that decency and renewal wins over decline and division.

Glad to have attended this service. Words uttered that ring in my mind - that πΊπ¦ is fighting for:

Please buy a copy of the paper too.
For too long too many children havenβt had the support they need to succeed.
That must change.
Labour will transform our schools system so every child can achieve and thrive.

Great to be back in Gorton and Denton for the by-election as part of one of dozens of teams talking to voters.
This evening I went to the opening of βUnveiledβ at Rugby Art Gallery and Museum. The entire Rugby art collection is on display and itβs very much worth a visit.
Well done to all involved and ππ» the council for continuing to invest in art for the benefit of the community.
Team Rugby Labour back for our third trip to Gorton & Denton for the by-election
(here with David Smith MP & others).
A great response on the doorstep for our brilliant candidate Angeliki Stogia. Vote Labour!

It was lovely to join Rugby Campaign for Real Ale at the Windmill Inn as they presented their Pub of the Year award to The Windmill Innβs Gemma and Andy.
Pubs are a vital part of our community.
Nice to grab a pint at the end of the week too!
Well done Gemma and Andy. Well-deserved.
Another in-person advice surgery completed in Rugby this afternoon.
My team and I will now crack on with helping people with their cases.
Last week I held another βZoomβ surgery for those who canβt get to the physical surgeries.
Please contact my office to book an appointment.
Good to be in Gorton and Denton again to help Angeliki Stogia in the by-election. Joined by Rugby Labour friends and MP friends! A good team!
Iβm looking forward to knocking on doors to help Angeliki Stogia, our brilliant Labour candidate for the Gorton & Denton by-election.

It was βοΈ but we had π conversations on the doorstep in Eastlands today.
Listening all year round.
The quick & clear decision of Labourβs NEC means we can move on from the damaging, introspection & psychodrama of the last week.
Letβs pull together behind whoever is selected and come together to beat Reform and then focus on vital elections in May.
Good to be out with the Rugby Labour team meeting people, listening to concerns & talking about how the Labour government is helping families & getting the cost of living down:
β
Β£150 off energy bills
β
Free breakfast clubs
β
Pay β¬οΈ 3.5 million ppl
β
Rail fare freeze

30 hrs free childcare
NATO Article V has been triggered only once: by the US after 9/11.
When our ally called, we in the UK didn't hesitate to stand with them.
636 British men & women paid the ultimate sacrifice in Iraq and Afghanistan, with many more living with their injuries today.
Great to be in Rugby town centre today with my colleague from Rugby Labour Party and our Councillors, meeting people, listening, talking about what weβre doing locally and nationally and gaining signature for my petition calling for more Dr-led urgent treatment at the local Hospital of St Cross.
Speculation about Andy Burnhamβs return & a leadership challenge is bad for Labour & more importantly, the country.
We should back the Prime Minister as he leads the team delivering renewal for our county.
The π was shining on a π₯Ά day in Rugby today - meeting residents, listening, explaining about what weβre doing locally and nationally to help people & to build a better π¬π§
My view: Labour must avoid a return to the chaos of leadership challenges that we saw under the Conservatives. We should get behind the PM to deliver a more prosperous and fairer country.
Wishing all my constituents a very Happy Christmas!
It was lovely to be at the carol service at St Edithβs Church in Monks Kirby.
Thanks for inviting me.
Beautiful singing by the village choir and accompaniment by
Bilton Silver Band.
It was a real joy to join Rugby Elim church for their carol service this evening. Thank you for inviting me.
We need a #RealManosphere to counter toxic content from people like Andrew Tate. Being strong does not mean being mean. And I will keep defending trans people's right to live with dignity. Kindness, empathy and fairness must guide us.
Met with Transport Minister to make the case for Gibbet Hill roundabout funding and road safety action. With DIRFT and Magna Park expanding, we need this junction upgraded. I have written to the Roads Minister urging its inclusion in RIS3 funding.
