All plastic parts are ready 😊 for this strong team (Caribou MK4S 220 and Caribou MK4S 320). For the 420 we need to find a solution for the Nextruder cable.

Almost all new parts for the Caribou MK4 are ready. Now we're waiting for Prusa to deliver (two weeks late already).

First design of Caribou MK4 320 (actually 335 mm) based on Prusa MK4. 100% compatible with Nextruder and firmware 3.9/4.0 😊

In order to upgrade you must follow the steps:
- Upgrade PanelDue firmware to 3.5.2
- Upgrade RepRap firmware to 3.6.0 (this will automatically upgrade DuetWebControl to 3.6.0 and DuetWiFi server to 2.2.1)
- Upgrade to CaribouDuet2Duet3Mini5+-Configuration-and-Macros-2.1.4

Here is a major update of the CaribouDuet software. In the last three days Duet released RepRap firmware 3.6.0 and PanelDue firmware 3.52. The RepRap firmware since version 3.4.6 had some serious bugs which made it impossible to run in a production environment. The bugs have been fixed now.

Compared to PrusaSlicer, many options have been added (infill, hole generation, alternating print direction, very useful for flexible filament) and extensive calibration tools (first layer, extruder, temperature, pressure advance). Features from PrusaSlicer 2.9 not implemented (work in progress).

Here is another tool that has been lying dormant on my hard disk for a long time or was mainly used internally: A version of the CaribouSlicers based on the SuperSlicer which in turn is based on the PrusaSlicer. Available for macOS, Linux and Windows 10 and 11.

Never thought that I need multiple beds, but trying that in Orcaslicer is a nice feature and comes in handy in the PrusaSlicer as well.

This object could have been part of the decoration of a wagon and is dated to 700 BC. It was found during an excavation of a tomb. We print a replica from a high-resolution scan for a customer project.
