Started the day at a ram raid in Leicester, yelled βStoppp!β in a taxi when I spotted another cordon, and ended it wading through sewage at a flat where a woman has to lock herself in. Just a normal day.

When I asked the force yesterday if it had conducted any internal review alongside the IOPC investigation, and what its findings were if completed,
The force did not direct answer, it repeated that it had "carefully analysed the detailed findings and directions" of the report.
LeicestershireLive editor Linda Steelyard said the force must rethink its approach to the meeting.
Nottingham Post editor Natalie Fahy said the victims' families are at the centre of the titles' call for transparency and that they deserve to be treated with "respect, dignity and honesty".
Both @leicestermercury.co.uk and @nottinghampost.co.uk are calling on Leicestershire Police to let the media into a misconduct meeting so transparent reporting can take place. It comes after the force told LeicsLive that the final decision on attendance rests with the meetings Chair t.co/cj7Ds1Rsuq

Local resident Paul Marcus, 63, shared how flooding has affected the village, revealing that his neighbor had to replace her car twice in the last eight months due to the floods. Others in the village werenβt so lucky.
Kristina, a volunteer from Leicester, came to help after seeing videos of the floods online. She said it was unlike anything she had ever seen before and took time off work to lend a hand.
The damage has impacted the entire village. Laura Wilkinson, a local cafe owner, said the community was βmortified, shockedβ by the scale of the destruction.
More than a dozen volunteers showed up this morning to help clean the pub, moving furniture and sorting through the damage. Bar supervisor Chloe Tinger, 26, said the devastation was overwhelming, describing the scene as βjust devastation everywhere.β
Yanela Kazazi described it as their third and worst flood yet, with the water reaching up to her husbandβs chest in the car park. Despite the heartbreaking loss, she was moved by the communityβs response, calling it βincredible.β
Cimi and Yanela, who helped rescue a woman trapped in her car during the floods, were first alerted to the rising waters at around 5am on January 6. Within hours, the pubβs beer garden and surrounding areas were submerged, leaving them with extensive damage.
The owners of The Italian Greyhound, Cimi and Yanela Kazazi, revealed they had βlost everythingβ after chest-high floodwater swept through the pub. The pub was one of many properties affected when record-breaking floods hit Leicestershire this week.
Today, I joined volunteers in Great Glen, Leicestershire who came together to help clean up after devastating floods left the owners with nothing. I mucked in and spoke with the community rallying to save their local.
