I'm curious how you approached them w/ this? Was it face to face or via messaging?

I'm so conflict avoidant that I just never discuss politics w/ them

I've tolerated them up until now despite their bigotry & ignorance

I refuse to educate them bc any attempt will be met w/ condescension as if I'm some naive child (it's happened before)

going to vent on here again bc bluesky feels more like a diary than social media 🙃

my bday is coming up & my parents obviously want to see me...but I cannot find it within me any desire whatsoever to see them

they have no clue how much I resent them for voting/supporting this administration...

went to another school for professional development & the teacher I observed thought I was a high school student at first lol

as a nearly 30 yr old woman this is finally flattering 😌

my honest opinion is that it's ineffective & not worth it lol

it's not meaningful instruction...just busy work to give kids so that we can consider it a "school day"

anyone voting to increase funding to ICE deserves to get their house burned down i'm not kidding
