My Chem teacher at the Catholic high school admonished me for wearing a tie with my uniform. When I pointed out nothing in the dress code said girls couldn't wear ties, she went apoplectic and said "YOUNG LADIES DON'T WEAR TIES" and slammed her classroom door in my face 🤷‍♀️

Apologies to all of my IG friends for forgetting to check and respond to DMs for days and weeks. FB has become intolerable for me between the AI slop, political rants and IG feels sort of like an extension of that so I find myself avoiding it even though there is actually some amazing content.
