Unholder The nightmare of a literally unspeakable monster from beyond the stars was dreamed into existence by unknowable psionic power. No eyes, only teeth. The strangest part about making a D&D book was following all of WotC's arbitrary rules about what could be used from D&D canon. Kobolds? Ok! Beholders? No!
So how did we make a beholderkin when we couldn't *mention* beholders? Make the unspeakability part of the lore!

I made a pretty art for this book for the bard subclass :D
I also played and ran some of this in the early playtesting, it was really good! Defo gonna whip some of this out next halloween <3
I got to help advertise this! It was a super cool experience.
It's so so good. It has the best Ranger subclass you'll ever play, and all the other subclasses are super good.
And the feats? Ooooh boy the feats.
"Magus, is the Heuristic Reconstitution Tonic some kind of political statement?"
The magic potion that changes your physical body to conform to your gender? The one with whose name has words beginning with H, R, and T? The one at common rarity so it can be found in every store?
...nope!

I helped out a lil bit with this! contributed an item name and playtested a thing! (and in doing so, helped maggie realize their first draft of a subclass was a lil busted and they probably shouldn't just hand a fighter "use eldritch blast as a bonus action" even with restrictions)
and it is: real good
I got to contribute some art to this book! Y'all should check out the Kickstarter!
So what's next? Next is fulfilling the remaining digital rewards. The mini-adventure add-ons, campaign setting stretch goal, and system conversions. And then physical printing!
Now that we've gotten the hard part done, expect to be hearing from us more often!

Also if your campaign is such that not even ONE player wants to actively take notes...maybe consider changing how you DM your games? Or maybe even who you invite to your table.
Active participation shouldn't just be encouraged, your players should WANT to do it!
