"GOOD FUCKING RIDDANCE"
If this is even remotely accurate, Elon Musk and Donald Trump have killed more people in several months than the Iraq war killed in a decade
Tricia McLaughlin & @TriciaOhio 0... The narrative being pushed about Jose Hermosillo is false. On April 8, Hermosillo approached Border Patrol in Tucson and stated he had entered the U.S. illegally through Nogales. He said he wanted to turn himself in and completed a sworn statement identifying as a Mexican citizen who had entered unlawfully. He was processed and appeared in court on April 11. Afterward, he was held by the U.S. Marshals in Florence, AZ. A few days later, his family presented documents showing U.S. citizenship. The charges were dismissed, and he was released to his family. This arrest was the direct result of Hermosillo's own actions and statements.
In an interview with Popular Information, his first with any media outlet, Hermosillo said DHS'. 's account was false. According to Hermosillo, he was visiting his girlfriend's family in Tucson from his home in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Several hours before his arrest, Hermosillo was transported to a hospital in Tucson by ambulance after suffering from a seizure. He has a New Mexico state ID, but did not take it with him during the medical emergency. After being released from the hospital following treatment, Hermosillo did not know how to return to where he was staying. He approached the Border Patrol officer because he was looking for someone to help him. "I saw a car, and I askled] him for help," Hermosillo said. He told the officer that he was staying in Tucson.
"You" re not from here. Do you have your papers?" the officer said, according to Hermosillo. When the officer asked where he was from, Hermosillo said he told the officer, "New Mexico." The officer then accused Hermosillo of lying. "Don't make me lout] like [I'm] stupid," the officer said. "I know you're from Mexico." After that, Hermosillo said, he was arrested. Hermosillo said that he never told the officer that he was born in Mexico, was a citizen of Mexico, or entered the country illegally. And he would not have said those things because they are not true. He signed the transcript released by DHS because the officer ordered him to "sign everything." But Hermosillo did not read it, because he cannot read. According to Hermosillo's girlfriend, Grace Hernandez, Hermosillo has learning disabilities and can only write his name. Hermosillo said he did not graduate from high school and dropped out after the 10th grade.
The officer also signed the document, which said Hermosillo "read" the document or had it read to him. But Hermosillo said no one read him the document. Other documents created by the officer have inaccuracies. For example, the criminal complaint says that Hermosillo was detained "at or near Nogales, Arizona." But Hermosillo was detained in Tuscon, which is more than 70 miles from Nogales. John Mennell, a spokesperson for the U.S. Border Patrol, said that it was an "unintentional" error. Hermosillo said he was detained with about 15 other men in a cell at the Florence Correctional Center. He was served only cold food. He said he contracted the flu because "they have it cold in there and everybody's getting sick." Hermosillo said he requested medicine but was not provided with any.
A US citizen with a learning disability who has just suffered a medical emergency asks a CBP officer for directions outside the emergency room. He ends up detained in an icebox for ten days and has the assistant secretary of DHS lying about him to the public at large. popular.info/p/us-citizen...
The people who protested outside of Tesla dealerships did more to limit the damage of the Trump administration than virtually anything Congressional Democrats have done. When people say "DO SOMETHING", this is precisely what they mean.
I appreciate Framcis' commitment to die rather than have to talk to JD Vance
Trump will reportedly end the IRS Direct File program that allowed taxpayers to file taxes for free.
This comes after Intuit, the maker of TurboTax, lobbied the government for years to block IRS free file.
Intuit donated $1 million to Trumpโs inauguration.
See how this works?
AOC: I heard that someone was flying a plane with a banner that said this is Trump countryโฆ It sure donโt look like it today.
I donโt think this is Trump country. This is our country.
Not Antisemitism (according to MAGA):

- Eating dinner with neo-Nazis
Antisemitism (according to MAGA):
- Saying Israelis and Palestinians deserve rights and dignity
- Using freedom of speech on campus

A better world is possible.
Honestly, I don't even know what to say.
This is literally perfect.
Rep. Steven Horsford to Greer: "So the trade representative hasn't spoken to the POTUS about a global reordering of trade, but yet he announced it on a tweet? WTF! Who is in charge? It looks like your boss just pulled the rug out from under you. There is no strategy ... is this market manipulation?"
I often think about this chart and how warped americansโ perceptions are about literally everything and the huge hand fox news has played in it by demonizing tiny tiny percentages of people (from today.yougov.com/politics/art...)
do you ever feel like you live in a different reality from some people
face it, if you had the ability to completely vaporize $2 trillion dollars out of existence in under 20 minutes, youโd be tempted to see what happens too
Just no words for this level of cruelty and enthusiasm for inflicting suffering on the poorest in our society
This is, in large part, pandemic revenge.
As far as these oligarchs are concerned, all science does is tell them stuff they cannot do.
They can't keep spewing carbon.
They can't keep businesses open as usual when millions are dying.
They have concluded that research is the enemy of profit.

Malone said Saturday that his campaign volunteers have heard concerns from thousands of voters over Muskโs work with the Trump administration to reshape the federal government, which he said has led to โbenefits for veterans, retirees and studentsโ being cut โso Elon Musk can get a tax cut.โ โJosh Parsons might be OK with that but Iโm not,โ Malone said. โOn Tuesday, youโll get to make the choice between more Musk, or Lancaster values.โ
The Democrat who just flipped a very Trumpy seat in Pennsylvaniaโs Senate made opposition to Elon Musk front and center in his campaign.

Thread on a very extreme EO on voting. What's concerning isn't even rules in themselves (Trump doesnโt have power to order these), but:
(1) He will claim that election not run under them is fraudulent, & look to overturn it,
(2) this is going to set out new standards that states will pursue.
Democrats: How do we win back the working class while resisting Trump?
Bernie Sanders: [becomes the most popular politician in America by ruthlessly attacking the oligarchy]
Democrats: It's a mystery! Must be completely unsolvable. Guess we'll never know!
Happy birthday!
you really can't underestimate how little voters understood what they were voting for in 2024
Casar: You can quickly explain Doge with just two numbers.
First: $8 million a day. Thatโs how much Elon Musk collects in federal government contracts.
Second: $65 a day. Thatโs how much the average seniorโsomeone who has worked their entire lifeโgets from Social Security.โฆ
In recent years, Judge Boasberg has:
- ordered the release of Hillaryโs emails
- ensured Trumpโs tax returns never became public
- restricted disclosure from the Mueller investigation
- limited disclosure of grand jury material in the Trump classified docs case.

Lindsay Toczylowski @l-toczylowski.bsky.social Posting tonight ti shine a light on what the Alien Enemies Act looks like IRL. Our @immdef.bsky.social client fled Venezuela last year & came to US to seek asylum. He has a strong claim. He was detained upon entry because ICE alleged his tattoos are gang related. They are absolutely not. March 15, 2025 at 11:33 PM Lindsay Toczylowski @l-toczylowski... โข 1d Our client worked in the arts in Venezuela. He is LGBTQ. His tattoos are benign. But ICE submitted photos of his tattoos as evidence he is Tren de Aragua. His @ImmDef attorney planned to present evidence he is not. But never got the chance because our client has been disappeared.
Solanyer said an ICE officer told her that her brother was detained because of a tattoo that linked him to Tren de Aragua, a violent gang with Venezuelan prison origins that has spread through the Americas. She said the tattoo depicted a rose and that he had gotten it in a tattoo parlor in Dallas. "He thought it looked cool, looked nice, it didn't have any other significance," she said, stressing that he is not a gang member.
Caraballo had multiple tattoos including ones of roses, a clock with this daughter's birth time, a lion and a shaving razor, said his wife. "I've never seen him without hair, so I haven't recognized him in the photos," she said. "I just suspect he's there because of the tattoos that he has and right now any Venezuelan man with tattoos is assumed to be a gang member", she added, citing also the fact that he has effectively gone missing. Sanchez said her husband has never been a member of Tren de Aragua.
taseenb @taseenb People have started identifying some of the 238 Venezuelan migrants deported to Bukele's torture dungeons by the U.S. fascist regime. The brother of one of them posted that his relative is a barber with no criminal record and no links to any criminal organisations.
The men sent to do hard labor in a Salvadoran prison:
- A tattoo artist seeking asylum who entered legally.
- A teen who got a tattoo in Dallas because he thought it looked cool.
- A 26-year-old whose tattoos his wife says are unrelated to a gang.
- A barber whose family says he has no gang ties.
