Yesterday was sort of an adrenaline-induced haze while I navigated insurance claims and holiday travel contingencies. An impenetrable knot of frustration in both my body and mind but thankful that I am still alive, which is not a given.
Hey what's up yesterday my car got totaled by a hit and run driver while I was in it (I am fine). Bracing myself to get vastly less money than the cost of a "new" used vehicle. With holidays fast descending, it's oops all rentals until probably the new year.

Fondly remembering you showing up to the first fantasy draft in a suit and tie and roasting the shit out of everyone on the call. This was also my first personal impression of you.
But I think sometimes about where I was before, and if you’d told me I’d be going out for projects like these I simply would not have believed you. And that’s something.
I’ve been in LA almost 9 years, half of them lost to the pandemic, the recessions, contract disputes. The hard reset after 2020 and the slow climb up has been rough. And at the risk of jinxing it, feels like the momentum is gaining again.
Been a quiet summer but I’ve actually had a few good self-tapes recently. Every year I get some potentially life-changing auditions: Atlas, Hit Man, Macbeth, Oppenheimer, Road House, The Sympathizer, Unbelievable, Yellowstone, and others I am super under NDA for.
Reels and demos are great because you only need them when you aren’t famous and you don’t get great work samples until you are.
