The recent solar flare caused auroras to be visible at lower altitudes as a reddish glow in the sky. Despite the clouds covering almost the entire sky, I was able to capture them in this photography taken in northern Spain with a 16th-century chapel in the foreground.

Title: Magic Hour at Nyhavn Harbor
The golden warmth of 17th-century facades and festive ship lights contrasts beautifully with the Nordic twilight in this Copenhagenβs canal, while the calm water creates a perfect mirror of this iconic Danish scene.

From left to right we can found Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque (that appears pink with the lighting), the New Mosque (although it was inagurated in 1665) near the bridge, and behind it the Nuruosmaniye Mosque, near the Great Bazar. The river is indeed an estuary, the Golden Horn.
Title: Mosques, mosques everywhere.
From this view from the top of the Galata Tower in Istanbul, it is clear that the city's residents may complain about other things, but not about not having a place to go to pray. Up to four big mosques can be seen.

Title: Christmas in Corunna (Spain)
Photo of Corunna's waterfront with the well-known La Marina galleries framed by the Christmas ball and the Christmas tree. Again searching for the blue and yellow contrast.
Merry Christmas!!

Title: Blue Hour over the Douro
Porto shines during the blue hour. The iconic Luis I Bridge leads the eye through its glowing steel frame toward the historic riverbanks while a stunning contrast is formed between the blue color and the orange glow.

Title: Alone in the Dark
"When the spirits of the night lurk, the only way to survive is to take refuge on sacred ground, however small it may be, and pray that the only light you carry does not go out."

Title: Mist in the Sil Canyons
A forest where trees older than time, draped in ivy and moss, escort you to a place where the clock seems to have stopped, where the mist seems to be breath and the leaf-strewn path is a solemn invitation to enter.

Title: Reflections on the Tiber
Castel Sant'Angelo is a good example of architectural reuse. It has been a mausoleum, a military fortress, an emergency residence for Popes in times of danger, and today it is a museum with panoramic views of Rome.

Title: Siena after the Palio
Siena's iconic Piazza del Campo, with the imposing Torre del Mangia, and the Palazzo Pubblico. This is where the βPalioβ race takes place, an intense and short horse race that is much more than just a competition.

Title: Michelangelo's David
The photograph shows the famous David, sculpted by Michelangelo Buonarroti and considered a masterpiece of Renaissance art. It is perfectly framed by an upper arch that directs the gaze towards David's concentrated face

Title: Car trails towards the towers
This is a well-known photographic composition in Madrid, in which a long exposure time captures the traffic as car trails beneath the watchful gaze of Madrid's prominent skyscrapers.

France and Germany would have a tough time, facing each other in the round of 16 and then playing the Netherlands in the quarterfinals, with Spain waiting in the semifinals...
#FifaWorldCupDraw
An affordable group for Spain in the #FifaWorldCupDraw, but then the matchups get complicated.
If we follow the FIFA rankings, Spain's likely matchups would be:
* Round of 32 (Austria)
* Round of 16 (Croatia)
* Quarterfinals (Belgium or USA)
* Semifinals (France)
* Final (Argentina)
Title: Sunset at Carvoeiro (Algarve)
A photograph taken on the same day as the photograph from week 21, just a few kilometers away, but this one was taken at sunset and the other at sunrise. Stunning cliffs, beaches and small villages in Algarve.

The priests hold large fire bowls in their hands, rungs bells at the temples situated at the ghat (stairs leading to the river) and they say prayers and sing chants. People flick Diya (made of leaves and flowers) into the river Ganges as a symbol of hopes and wishes.
Title: Puja Aarti at Har Ki Pauri in Haridwar

It was also a tragedy place when Sikh independence leaders took refuge there in the 1980s. A rebellion that Indira Gandhi put down in blood and fire causing hundreds of casualties and which was later the cause of the attack that cost her her life at the hands of her own Sikh bodyguards.
Title: Reflections of the Golden Temple
Another indescribable place in India is the Golden Temple in Amritsar, the holiest place for Sikhs, who visit it at least once in their lifetime. It is a place where thousands of pilgrims pass through every day.

Title: Family Scene in India
One of the most striking aspects of my trip to India was how welcoming people were. Here, a young mother dressed in a bright warmth orange sari contrasts beautifully with the green-painted room of her home.

Since this is a panoramic photography, taken from the bottom to the top, it captures the entire tree but does not justice to its real dimensions, that are more impressive than they appear in the photography.
Title: Conxo Banquet Oak
Theme: Nature
After a two-month break, we continue with the challenge, now with one of the most characteristic trees of my homeland, a magnificent oak tree 26 meters tall and 250 years old.

Fortunately, he was an unstable person who was only a danger to himself. If this had happened in the USA, he would probably have been armed, and today's news would have been very different.
