First of all, clearly they can still be pressured into not being so mask-off greedy.
And secondly, clearly if you give them even the smallest inch they'll take 75 dollars for one grove of trees.
Honestly I have some Battle.net balance right now, and I like the trees. I want to get a couple. But I'm too grossed out by how this is being handled to go through with it.

Regardless, Blizzard needs to introduce an alternative Cherry Blossom Tree for Pandaren players ASAP, even if it just means using the older model from Pandaria. That will at least help make this whole thing less nauseating.

The tree's description also claims it's "ideal for druidic groves", so, you know, that's Blizzard actively using class fantasy to sell a decor item - after promising class fantasy items would not be on the shop.
I honestly am fine with most of the housing store stuff. I don't care about the gnomes or even the £/$8 Gazebo.
But the cherry blossom tree is a direct violation of the promise to not lock class or race fantasy behind the store. Cherry Blossom trees are part of Pandaren fantasy.
Looks like they lowered the price of the trees from $/£7.50 to $/£2.50.
This is called "anchoring". What you do is you begin with a higher price and then you lower it, or you have it go on sale. This makes people gush over how now it's a deal.
