@cavedueller
TTRPG writer and environmental scientist. Okay-ish human. Posts about wildlife, games, politics, & random bullshit. My games are at https://ethanharvey.itch.io, and I also post at https://dice.camp/@cavedueller sometimes. They/he.

"I think you could write about peeling potatoes and make it interesting."
And I think I'm more typical than not in this regard. It's not denial, it's not making excuses, I just have no idea what they think of anything not explicitly in their books, because I literally never bother to look them up.
I know I can read a book, love it enough to read all of the author's books, recommend them to others, etc, without ever knowing or feeling the need to know their race or gender, let alone their political opinions. I certainly don't follow them on social media.
They know their market.
The trick is in keeping it ambiguous exactly *what* is wrong with you.
It would be slightly less stupid if they called it "feedback" or just "message" instead of "review". It's not a review. Reviews are for customers.
Oh, that's good. I suspect Vance got his advice from the same source and has taken it to the same conclusion, but accidentally and unironically.
Who told JD Vance people respond well to hearing their own name every few seconds? Kudos to them. It really cranks up his scammy salesman vibe to a downright skin-crawling level.
This is MASSIVE news for anyone without institutional access!
Tagging @thetransfemininereview.com in particular, since we've discussed this issue before.
That is definitely part of the appeal for me. Teenagers are boring.
I'm glad you posted this. I haven't played it, but I remember seeing a description of it years ago, thinking, "oh, that sounds fun, I should try it someday". I've thought many times I'd like to play it, if only I could remember what the hell it was called.
I agree with your friend. I wish he'd spend even more time golfing.
It's one of those apps with a gazillion features that I rarely use and can never remember how I did it last time, but I have definitely edited layers and tags with version... uh, 3 or 4?
This might not be that helpful because I have an old version, and I'm not sure which of their current options has which features, but check out PDF Xchange Editor.
Guiness is easy for me to describe. Carbonated soy sauce.
Tamarind is a better comparison than anything I could think of.
Oh, it's possible he did and I missed it. The quote I did see came pretty close, though.
He didn't *quite* outright say that, but it was pretty clearly implied.
If youβre looking to update your U.S. passport to accurately reflect your gender, the window may soon be closing. For many, an accurate passport is more than just a confirmation of identity, itβs necessary to travel safely.
Looks like he should have wrap-around sunglasses.
Please remember that if at all possible you should never wade through or otherwise come in contact with floodwater like this. That water is a chemical and biological stew of who knows what.
Vape of Invisibility
Tbh, I think the problem is that it caters only to creators (of any kind) while being almost hostile to potential *customers*. Looking for a game? Here are the 20 most popular. Good luck ever finding anything else.
I often worry about saying something too silly or frivolous for the person I'm talking to.
Then, sometimes, I remember how I met the person and it's like, "the comments of a shitpost about dogs eating bees" or "a TTRPG where he played a perpetually stoned goblin".
Yea. Those titles are so over the top I would feel like I was misleading people just by sharing them.
Starforged
The plugins I've found require Blender to be running at the same time, which would probably make my crappy old laptop crash every five minutes. (Also I would have to learn Blender.) So unless there's one I'm missing I think Clip Studio is the clear winner in this area.
Oh, I've been using Krita for years and for the small amount I do in it, it's great. I've never explored add-ons aside from Gmic and brushes though. Going to have to look at those.
