Finally got round to walking stage 1 of the Saint Aelred's Pilgrim Trail from Helmsley to Saint Mary Magdalene East Moors. 6 miles down, 35 to go. #CofEPeeps

Some of our Christmas services were in extremely cold churches with no heating and no water. People know to wrap up warm. Life on the North York Moors = hardy! Some things haven't changed.
We will be singing it in the Methodist church in Helmsley.

I had a midline episiotomy in the UK 29 years ago, which required a Fenton's procedure 15 years later. Cannot recommend either.

It's the first anniversary of the start of this journey of ministry with the Anglicans and Methodists of Helmsley and Upper Ryedale. A bench 1/2 a mile up the road from the vicarage gives a wider perspective on the town. The sky is currently not so blue so I ventured over here to change the view.
