We do realize that the USA's hegemony is over right? The entire globe is shifting east. We are essentially fighting to not descend into a fascist-authoritarian hell-hole, and to be able to live well even after our rivals make parity with us (will coincide with the end of the dollar's dominance)

There have been smarter tyrants that lost. Do not despair.

Stupid people are too confident and that’s a societal failure.

You have no idea how damaging it is to fascism if you can speak and write clearly. If you can even think clearly, you are problem to it.

Americans are marked by the special ability to not feel mental dissonance. We routinely reconcile the irreconcilable, resulting in: racist christians, statist liberals, fascist conservatives, pro-lifers against free lunch in schools, libertarians supporting state centralization—No dissonance ever.

The world would improve incredibly if the modest and skillful became unflinchingly confident. The stupid and ignorant do not justify themselves; why do you?

There is no such thing as "Representative" Democracy Dispelling a common myth

In this article I argued that wherever there are "representatives," the system of Gov is actually an oligarchy or aristocracy. This becomes most apparent in crisis. We are forced to watch their power struggles and have the right only to swap elites out.

Not going to happen, would be cowardly if it did happen and would doom the rest of the country to a near certain authoritarianism. Democrats need to stop the emotionalism and being reactionary. Make a blue wave happen.

If you are trying to figure out who to watch out for if the USA goes full fascist—it’s your HOA. The members of your HOA will report you to the secret police.

That entire duration should have been spent maneuvering against the fascist and pre-fascist states instead--politically and militarily. The Former entails the capture or defense of major institutions. The latter, a willingness to act on one's foresight.

One of the greatest errors on behalf of liberal democracies in the early 20th century is that they wasted tons of time trying to debate with fascists; to show through reason that their ideas were wrong, immoral or unreasonable.

I wonder which stupidity will spark the next world war. A moronic assassination? An art school rejection? A billionaire propping up a neo-nazi party?

The ethic that calls for “enduring” everything is exactly why evil proliferates.

Remember that when you see ICE, when you don't speak up at work, when you obey illegal orders, or obey orders made legal but that you know are unconstitutional. Most of all fight not only by resistance, but positively. Do things. Write, speak, act.

Fascism can only be defeated in the early stage, otherwise, it will be like trying to stop a freight train with your arms. We are in that early stage. The most complicit element in all past fascisms was not conservatives, not liberals, but common people. Remember that.

Historically, both conservatives & liberals cooperated with fascists. They believed they could feign deferment, then resurrect their principles & seize back institutions. It never worked. They could never time the critical moment, and would still be useless if they could.
