Okay. Then I suspect your oil may be adulterated (which they very often are.) Find a vendor who does GCMS testing for purity. If that's what you already have, maybe it's a real allergy to the stuff. (Forgive me; I once studied aromatherapy for 5 years.)

If you used an essential oil, you are not supposed to put them on your skin neat (full strength) but put them instead in some carrier oil to dilute. Yep you can sure burn yourself on most of them! Lavender is the one you can use neat.
