Saying something that reminded me of a song lyric and suddenly pivoting to singing then forgetting what we were talking about.

With each interview I'd get more shamelessly open about how much the stress of press tour travel is affecting my digestion.

A Naomi Wolf-style interview where it's revealed suddenly that I think an Oscar and an Academy Award are two different things

What is the viral faux pas you would make during the last round of your Oscars press tour?

I have talked to several Uber drivers who were doing just this! Retired guys who were really chatty and happy to make a little cash on the side

I think it’s OK to hate cats, but Oscar-courting movie actors should NOT put down the opera & also, Justice for Daryl Hannah! <trying to weigh in on the discourse efficiently>

Opinion | Daryl Hannah: How Can β€˜Love Story’ Get Away With This?

"I have never used cocaine in my life... I have never desecrated any family heirloom or intruded upon anyone’s private memorial... It’s appalling to me that I even have to defend myself against a television show." Justice for Daryl Hannah!

Despite having the same last name, David Byrne and Rose Byrne are not father and daughter, as you might assume. They are, instead, best friends.

Trump couldn't care less about Americans. To him, we are and always have been no-names, extras, the cost of doing business. He won't lose a minute of sleep over an American life, or over a thousand of them.

a man in a top hat stands next to a child and says " goggles on please " Alt: Mike TV from Willy Wonka and the chocolate factory

It makes so much sense to put ALL these villains on TV, non-stop, for ongoing viral-video interrogationsβ€”to get them to slip up, to say something that pisses him off, to look weakβ€” because the only thing that matters to this guy is what happens on the tube

That’s the other thing – I’m open to a style-based show, but that was the most boring style ever! It would be like watching a show about the 80s that celebrated balloon skirts and sweater dresses as the height of hip

ICE detains reporter Estefany RodrΓguez in Nashville - Nashville Banner Reporter Estefany RodrΓguez, detained by ICE with no arrest warrant, may face deportation. Her attorneys seek immediate review of the legality of her case.

ICE has arrested and detained a Nashville journalist who reported stories critical of ICE. She’s married to a U.S. citizen and has been seeking asylum here after fleeing death threats in Colombia because of her journalism there.

They’ve already sent her to Louisiana.

I agree. I realize they’re dead and there’s no point in rolling my eyes at them, but this is a made-up aristocratic fairytale and I don’t love thoseβ€” it actually reminds me of the fluffy way that people talked about Prince Charles and Diana when they first got married

That is a good category, someone should make a list of actual great movies & TV shows that capture that Manhattan.… The two that come to mind for me are the (very different) movies Can You Ever Forgive Me? and Definitely Maybe. And SATC, too

Do I have to watch this JFKJr/Carolyn B thing? I don’t want to bc a) I lived in New York during the 90s & I wasn’t interested in them at the time! and b) it sounds like a glamorizing portrait of a boring subject… but a bunch of people I know seem giddy about it & I’m weak & don’t want to be left out
