Cat no 1 is currently hiding under the bed in the (empty) foster room and won’t come out though she is purring loudly. I think we might be nearing the end and although this has been coming for a while I am gutted.

I like the dried mango idea. I’d avoid anything with nuts in (I’m allergic but not massively so, and I find that a tricky thing to navigate). Pringles and sweet/salty popcorn would be my other go to

The foster cat is back! (After escaping on Thursday night.) He’s very hungry but pleased to be home. My guys were preparing to chase him off, so it’s possible he’d made a previous unsuccessful attempt. A huge relief.
This is why I have lost my current foster cat. He’s now exploring the great outdoors. Without permission. And I am the parent waiting for the teenager to return.
My heart is full. Our local Scout troop came to the community garden and dug with enthusiasm; we planted and watered, and at the end they asked if they could come back and could they start having their Remembrance parade in the village rather than joining with the next village. 🥰
