I'm trying to find a style that feels comfortable for doodling. Happy that lineart is making a comeback in my life, I missed it.
I like that pixelated brush look, but I think it's not visible enough. I need to try drawing at an even lower resolution...

At this point, what use are game devs to Unity? They could generate the games themselves, flood the stores, create AI agent to play them, and sit satisfied in the ashes of the industry contemplating the rousing success of their corporate mission.

For a long time, Unity's business model was to charge developers to remove the engine's logo from their game's splash screen, as it had an image of cheapness and amateurism.
Very nice to see them embrace being the Slop Engineβ„’.

This is my favorite block in Fakutori! I just love how it looks and its colors (which were kind of an accident).
I won't say what element it is, just that it is a mythological substance. :)

Thankfully I remain entirely ignorant as to how Instagram works. Don't even know how to make a story, and at this point I'm too afraid to ask. No app makes me feel as old and my posts have zero reach but on the flipside, I'm shieded from the psychic damage it seems designed to inflict.

Highly recommend watching this video on renewable energy.

This channel is great in general for learning how various pieces of technology work, but this video in particular is important and eye-opening.

I did end up getting key rebinding to work! Just had to redo all the game's controls from scratch... for the third time... it's nothing, I'm fine with it, happy even.

It's only in french. There are 6 levels to beat, a real difficulty curve, and I think it's quite fun to play! Very proud of this team and what we achieved!

It was my first time doing pixel art and I absolutely loved it. That black and white style with dithering was very fun to use; no less than 4 different persons did pixel art for the game, and yet everything fits together so well!

I had two goals for this game jam: it had to be chill, and I wanted to do something I'm not used to do. I did some gamedesign, the level design, some of the pixel art (the tileset mostly) and a tiny bit of tech art to allow changing the game's palette!

The theme was "mask". In our game, you have to get your character to the goal of each level by making them wear the mask of a chess piece to change the way they move. You can also put masks on the enemy pieces!

(Movement speed is supposed to be faster, something's not working with the recorder)

This is "Echec & Masque" ("Checkmask"), the game we made last weekend during the Global Game Jam. We chose to do a puzzle tactical version of chess, with black and white pixel art graphics. Very fun game to work on and I'm very proud of the result!

Whatever the field you work in, the worst thing that can happen to you is for Adobe to purchase a piece of software you use. Because you know it'll become more expensive, less reliable, and can disappear at any moment. The fact that so many people's livelihood depends on this company is a tragedy.

Another awful move by Adobe to add the ever growing pile. Animate is used in many fields, video games being one of them. It's the cornerstone of many people's process, an irreplaceable piece of software. And in a month, it goes away, for litteraly no reason. Despicable.
