First, I’ve had to drill out behind a ton of magnets because North and South change all the damn time.

A few tricks that will help: drill deeper than you think you need to go (if you can). Drills leave a tapered bit at the bottom of the hole. If you’re not deep enough that the magnet can sit flat…
