Panel 5: There's a person diagonal from him behind him with a chess board with just the white pieces set up. He has a confident smile. Sunbeams come down behind him and the wind blows the grass gently. Panel 6: Closeup of that person giving a thumbs up as the beginning of the song "Rap is a Man's Soul!" from Gurren Lagann begins to come on, with the lyrics "do the impossible, see the invisible..." The sun is producing a glare reflection off of his thumb somehow. He had moved his D2 pawn forward to D3 to line up the bishop.

Theyre both gay for the opposite sex, somehow, & in the worst way imaginable.

Link is also Just A Guy from OoT on. He has a personality! He's not you! There's enough leeway to not get in the way of how You see the story, but OoT-MM-WW-DS games-TP-SS, he has enough of his own spunk to be a participant in his own story. BotW & TotK Link lose a lot of that & it's for the worse.

Even if none of the VS-as-such is left in the final thing, are the systems there? Are the aesthetics? Is the structure? Sure, you gotta compress a 20-30 minute stage into 5-10, & thus the thing you make might not survive decompression, but is it THE IDEA???
