i rly need ppl to realize genAI has never been made for the sake of the average/poor person, not for art or media, not for literature or research or information, not for kids or education. it's harmful in so many ways on a wide scale that no one except the few rich benefit from it
This. I don't think most people consider the scale of the issue, because either it doesn't affect them, or they're just not concerned about it. If you're interested, I wrote up an article on blog about the efficacy and ethics of genAI and its impact at scale!
