You're kind and talented, and such a lovely part of the Tolkien/RoP community! π₯Ίπ
So glad to hear you're feeling better now! The sunshine does help! Hopefully you'll see many flowers opening very soon... π·π
I'm so anxious to see how many come up, as this is my sixth year trying to get them established in this garden and they've been difficult. But they're my favourite flowers, so I keep hoping... π₯Ίπ€
Thank you! βΊοΈ
Your art is always so incredibly beautiful! β¨
The first few snowdrops are beginning to open... π€

Looks lovely! π°π΅
He gets to have a little oath-taking, as a treat.
You should have both, but (probably) not combined...
This is one of several reasons why I'm specifically a book!Aragorn girlie. Living in denial by imagining him as much less grimy than he was in the films... ππ
Congratulations!

@glassandsnacks.bsky.social's Middle-earth inspired suncatchers are so, so pretty... β¨
I won't spoil anything for you, but will just say I'm intrigued by this version of Elendil (and his garden!) and wish Tolkien had written more...
And NΓΊmenΓ³reans! π€©
Elendil, MΓriel, and Elrond.
But I think Tolkien just didn't have any reason to mention it either way, and it's reasonable to headcanon that elves (though not in Mirkwood) could have kept the some of same dairy-producing animals (cows, goats, sheep) as the other peoples, depending on their location.
On my last Tolkien re-read, I took notes about every food and animal (and plant!) mentioned. Somehow there's almost nothing said about elves having dairy (only that Mirkwood elves imported butter), while almost everyone else has butter, cream, and/or cheese, or at least kept dairy-producing animals.
I'd guess jam-on-cream... But either way, he's probably very particular about the type and quality of the jam.
Probably this? middle-earth.yoga (I have some of their things and they're nice!)
(But I do realise it's hard to match horses exactly!)
I've always found it funny that s2e3 shows the flashback to him running off to find Isildur, and then he re-appears as a new colour/shape and carries himself completely differently... π
I remember reading somewhere that he may have been played by a Quarter Horse in s1? Not sure about s2, but I assume a different breed although I can't tell what. (He actually looks like bit like a warmblood I rode for a while.) Wish there was a BTS feature about the horses, like the LotR films had!
Sometimes you just have to let The Characters decide what you're writing today.
Congratulations! Looking forward to reading it. βΊοΈ
Hoping the offline time helped and that things start to feel less overwhelming for you soon. π«
I've definitely seen some Quenya words here and there in the game, so maybe it's a case of there not being a readily available Sindarin word for "order" so (rather than construct one) the translator just chose a Quenya one instead... π€
