My tip from years of experience commuting by bike: puddles hide potholes. Avoid both
I keep hearing it as “J’accuse”
I was afraid it was a permanent closure there for a minute

It's a shame that their positive energy (tm) money ran out before that founder of Alex & Ani could pivot to running for governor on a platform of "let's put all of the government on A.I."
It’s….. beautiful
Is “Rocky Road” a little too obvious?
(B&J would never have such boringly named flavor!)

Gonna use this as an excuse to brag about my dad (80+) who went on two 15-mile bike rides per week with his old man crew prior to open heart surgery last year. Now he goes on two 15-mile e-bike rides per week, using the e-assist about 50% of the time.
thank you for cropping. I really don't want to see anything that's below the frame
Message sent by those extra piles at corners: This is your city saving 1 minute of work by a plow driver by creating 10-60 minutes of work for a neighbor who probably won't do it anyway. NBD because it matters only to people not traveling by car!
exactly!
I'm lucky enough to not live on a corner, and I try to be good about clearing my sidewalk. I see my neighbor's walk is cleared right up to the corner where the plows have dumped all that snow. It's 10x harder for them to clear that compared to how I have to clear just my sidewalk.
The corners are where plows tend to dump their snow & it hardens into ice. It's difficult for a resident to clear all of that. If the city were responsible for clearing the corners, they'd be less likely to dump their snow there, and then they could send equipment and workers to clear those areas
In a better world, the city would be responsible for clearing sidewalks so people can get around by foot. But how about this compromise: make the city responsible for clearing between the street and the sidewalk at every corner.

The door doesn’t open. You can only enter city hall from the side or back doors. Which is a metaphor of some sort!
