Postgres tip of the day: you can chain psql -c calls:
psql -c 'alter system set random_page_cost = 1.5' -c 'select pg_reload_conf()'
Bonus: they run in the same session, so you can even use vars.

Firefox con qualche estensione: uBlock Origin, Privacy Badger e uBlacklist. Su PC modifico il file di hosts aggiungendo gli hostname da una delle blacklist che si trovano in questo repository (github.com/StevenBlack/...).

Gmail backups with imapsync I recently realized that I had ~18 years of email stored in Gmail, with no backup. This week I fixed that, using imapsync to backup up the entire contents of my Gmail (~10GB) to mailbox.org. The imapsync documentation is great, but it took me a few tries to find all the right flags for my use case. Here's what I ended up with:
