Yes. I’d say Instagram over the past 10 years has inspired a lot of people to aspire to be wealthy (or at least to be rich enough to afford trips & clothes that would make others envy them). Being more materialistic like that likely correlates to conservative views for many people. IMHO
The White House position is that it is no big deal that Putin is helping Iran try to kill US soldiers.
