I can feel the disdain he must have for the first families of his adopted children.

One of those girls was my mom. She was locked away for 6 months, forced to work, and made to pay for her room/board. Three days after my birth, they got her signature on the relinquish papers and put her on a bus back to my grandmother's. I was sold to the next couple on the #adoption agencies list.
