Exactly. Like, now I live on my own. I gotta budget bills & groceries. There's less money for cosplay for sure & unfortunately less energy for it...especially with the weight of the world around us bogging us down as horrors persist. But there is the irrational, lingering fear of being forgotten.

I will be at cons eventually this year, but in the meantime, whatever projects I DO work on, I'll probably just dress up and take pics in my room or set up little shoots outside of cons. I'm not done cosplaying, I'm just slowing my pace. ✌🏽😅

Like, I needed ti be less stressed about crunch deadlines so often and less financially pressed. Heck, I'm not going to Wondercon this year and I ALWAYS attend that one, but...I just don't have the spoons, man. Been more of a hermit as of late. Enjoying just being home making art and playing games.

I honestly feel awful about not doing cosplay as often as I used to, which is like...weird because it's not like I HAVE TO do it or anything, but I don't know...somehow I still feel like I'm letting people down. I still LOVE cosplay, but I think I just needed to slow down and focus on other things

Yeah, honestly I hate how series' today all operate like this. It takes SO LONG. I don't get why series like stranger things didn't fall off early on because of it.
