// RE9 Spoilers
The real reason Wolf Squad is in RC is to get Chris's "Made in Heaven" jacket from R.P.D
The Requiem, or as I call it, The "Blow-Shit-Smooth-Off"-inator
Just finished it. Iz peak
Getting close to the end of Requiem, and so far I can safely say it's peak
BallXPit is really good
Replaying The Last of Us Part 2 and it's just a constant reminder of how shoddy the second season of the adaptation was
They were just doing all the things in RE6 lmao
Finished reading Fantasticland the other day. It gets an easy recommendation from me, especially if you like suspense. That hotel chapter, goddamn
Callie likes watching DbD lol
Dark Sun is such an interesting D&D setting. Post-apocalyptic fantasy makes for great reading.
Nilla Bean demands satisfaction (translation: treats)
That's basically where I'm at mentally as well. I had hoped the PvE stuff would've panned out, but I'm glad they've found their footing in the PvP space
How I feel letting my house auto-demolish in XIV
I'm looking forward to the countdown on the Fallout show site being a limited edition Stanley Cup
No one told me that watching two medical dramas meant that you'd get hard-pressed on your home screen
Running a melee build in Fallout 4 is a much bigger pain in the ass, but I'm determined to see it through! ๐
Finished my replay of New Vegas (and got all my cheevos again to boot). I think my favorite part during this run was using a Fat-man to obliterate the Kahns while they were conveniently sitting together for dinner.
*Fallout S2 E5 Spoilers*
It's nice to see that not all settlements have been blown to smithereens! Also, fuck Quarry Junction lol
Doing a melee/unarmed build in F:NV for the first time has been an experience lol
The shitty part about discussions around the Fallout show is that the well has been so irradiated by bad faith arguments that I feel I can't voice criticisms without sounding/looking like a lobotomite.
The God of the Woods by Liz Moore was a great read. It starts off slow with a lot of world building and set dressing for the narrative, but it makes excellent use of it later. (Now back to Agatha Christie lol)
There's something "just right" about recognizing my stop on the train is coming up because the one before it consistently reeks like a rat exploded.
The "Watch Fallout S2" to "Reinstall Fallout 4" to "Realize (again) that F4 is buns" timeline is strong.
Shelby Oaks was so good in the first half that it makes the second half all the more disappointing ๐
Man, "The Mysterious Affair at Styles" was such a good read. I'm excited to hop into the next Poirot novel, but I've heard good things about "The God of the Woods," so I'll check that out first.
I've heard nothing but praise for so many of her works that I'm excited to read through her entire bibliography
After discovering that I'm a sucker for "whodunnit" stories, I picked up the first Agatha Christie novel. Needless to say, I'm already halfway through it ๐
Every time you guys bring it up on the podcast, I get a *little bit* closer to caving in
