I've been making a maze gen editor for debugging, and it's been both more helpful and way cooler to use than I thought. It now displays a lot of information and can set the maze's seed.

Working on an interactive maze generator editor, so I'll be able to prototype the kind of labyrinths you'll encounter in my horror game.

Fun thought experiment. A man comes across a piece of paper that says "This sentence is false". However, no one in the universe speaks English anymore, including himself, so he doesn't read anything. Is "this sentence is false" still a paradox in this situation?

I'm now onto my next game jam, doing the Metroidvania month jam! It's relatively simple but I'm pretty proud of this one - the camera stays within bounds, and you can cleanly walk off screen and back to transition between rooms.

Actually forget that. Assume Game Freak is taking customers for granted and cutting corners to save money at the expanse of quality. Why get worked up over this?

What I don't get is why get angry over it at all. There's a sea of other games including other monster games. Sure Game Freak's rich, but is any amount of money really going to cover up a skill issue?

Chainguin I feel is a little too corny, and chainball champions I feel is a bit too generic.

What about just "Super Ball & Chain Penguin"? That rolls off the tongue a lot better.

By the way, did you use to do SMB2 romhacking? The levels look like they would come right out of that community.
