Champaign Unit 4 Schools will be closed on Thursday, June 19, 2025 in honor of Juneteenth, also known as Freedom Day. We take this time to recognize and reflect on the significance of this day in our nation's history.

Teacher of the Week: William Villaflor, social worker, Franklin STEAM Academy, Champaign After entering education as an English teacher in 2020, William Villaflor transitioned to social work. He's filled that position at Franklin STEAM Academy for the last two years.

Congratulations to the Class of 2025! Over 650 Maroons and Chargers earned their diplomas this year, with nearly $9 million in scholarships awarded across Central and Centennial High Schools. We’re so proud of all you’ve accomplished!

Starting June 9 through July 18, Unit 4 campuses will be open Monday-Thursday from 7:30 AM-4:30 PM. On Fridays, buildings will be open by appointment only. Have a great summer!

Unit 4’s Summer Cyber Scholars is back! Students in grades 2-5 can join 6 weeks of hands-on math & ELA lessons with virtual support. Runs June 9-July 3. Materials & tech provided if needed. Space is limited! Apply by May 26.
